The relationship between the Chubby Jackey series' name and the style of shaping it puts front and center needs little explanation. These are stout and solid briars, with those aspects further accentuated by being rendered in short, compact, Nosewarmer-style proportions. Of course, the presence of a horn mount only goes to reinforce the point, and the shank itself just for good measure. A less obvious, but nonetheless pleasant surprise is that the broad drilling of the mortise allows for a tenon that will take a 9mm filter, while also still retaining a lot of reassuring substance.
