Savinelli Fiammetta Smooth 123 (6mm) Filter Pipe - This bent Pot features a well-rounded bowl married to a triangular shank with the slightest of bends. Capping off the beauty of this fine hunk of briar is the brilliant flame grain brought to life by the Fiammetta finish.
Translated to English, from Italian, Fiammetta means "little flame." As Savinelli loves to source great artists throughout history, the name may be reference Giovanni Boccaccio's beloved muse, Maria d' Aquino. With a much darker walnut hue on this striking flame grain, the pipe recalls the more serious and contemplative tone on the love story of Elegia di Madonna Fiammetta, as opposed to its more smitten counterparts in lighter, more amber-tinged finishes.
